What is KnowledgeShare?

KnowledgeShare allows healthcare staff to connect with their local NHS library and knowledge service. 

You can use KnowledgeShare to find colleagues with shared interests, helping to spread innovation and collaborate on service improvement.

What can I do with KnowledgeShare?​

There are 4 things that you can do with KnowledgeShare.

  1. Sign up for highly targeted evidence updates based on your professional interest, sent by your Librarian
  2. Request evidence searches and access searches requested by colleagues elsewhere (where permission has been given).
  3. Book onto Training and manage your bookings
  4. Connect with colleagues based on shared professional interests

Who is eligible to use KnowledgeShare?

Anyone in Bedfordshire with an NHS OpenAthens password, Doctors, Nurses, Public Health, Community Healthcare Staff, GP and CCG staff and Practice Teams. 

How do I access and sign up?​

You can sign up in one of 2 ways: 

  1. By completing this form https://oaks.libwizard.com/f/LUTKS 
  2. Going to www.knowledgeshare.nhs.uk. You will need to log in using your OpenAthens username and password.

If you do not have an OpenAthens log in then you can sign up at http://openathens.nice.org.uk/.  

If you wish to make any changes to your Evidence Updates, no longer wish to receive them or require any other assistance please email library@ldh.nhs.uk.
