Reflective writing

Title: Reflective Writing

Pre-requisites for attendance: No previous knowledge is required

What will I learn?

  • Know the basic principles of reflective writing and why it is useful   
  • Learn how to write reflectively
  • Understand the requirements relating to reflection for revalidation
  • Be able to log CPD hours
  • Reflective writing is indicative of reflective thinking
  • Understand how the Library can support you in your revalidation

Duration: 1 hour

Format: 1-1 session either via MS Teams or in-person. 

 

 

Thinking reflectively involves:

  1. Looking back at an events
  2. Analysing the event in depth, aiming to consider different perspectives
  3. Considering implications for future practice and/or self-development

What are the benefits of attending?

  • Training certificates for all workshops with time spent and objectives detailed

  • Time for reflective writing at the end of workshops (optional)

  • Books on reflective writing are available in both libraries
