Consultant Professional & Study Leave Guidance for StudyWise
On 1st April 2023, StudyWise, a web-based, study leave management system, was officially launched with the aim to streamline and improve the management of the professional and study leave of senior medical and dental staff, replacing the current paper-based process.
As of the 1st April 2023, you will now be able to self-manage your personal study and professional leave from any device both on site and remotely, 24/7. Advantages to StudyWise include real-time and transparent tracking of your study leave enabling you to request, to view and to track your study leave, your claims and your entitlements in your own personal record. Paper application forms will no longer be required. Please note that all other expenses which are non-study leave related will continue to be processed by the Medical Workforce team. A separate software solution linked to ESR is due to be launched for this however please continue using the claim form for the time being.
